A 8 elements Yagi antenna optimized for 144 -144,6 MHz. Developed with 28 Ohm technology to achieve the best performance antenna in terms of gain - front/back ratio and low radiation lobes. The antenna has a balanced Dipole for the best linear radiation and a matching cable for 50 Ohm feed. The antenna is excellent for stacking to larger system for Tropo - MS and EME contacts. The elements are mounted in UV-resistant plastic holders and insulated from the boom; the dipole is also insulated from the boom to reduce interference from bad TV antenna amplifiers and intermodulation from other communication services. The dipole can be earthed in the boom if desired. The boom is of different dimensions with 2 mm wall thickness to achieve maximum strength. Cable connector is N female. All our Yagi antennas are developed for the Nordic climate and then tested for longer periods at SK7MW and SM7DTT.
